Paddock

Terms of Use

Last updated 16 October 2026

Paddock is licensed, not sold. Use of the app is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to every app distributed through the App Store.

The licence

The full text is Apple's standard EULA: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. The points below say how it applies to Paddock specifically; where anything here conflicts with Apple's agreement, Apple's agreement governs.

Subscriptions and the one-time purchase

What the app is, and is not

Paddock is a record book. Gestation and incubation lengths, lockdown days and candling days come from published agricultural extension sources and are cited in the app's own configuration, but they are planning figures for ordinary animals.

Paddock is not veterinary advice. Withdrawal periods in particular are whatever you enter from the medicine's own label — the app simply counts the days. Always follow the label and your vet. Decisions about treating, breeding, selling or eating an animal are yours.

Your records

Your records are yours. We hold none of them. We make no claim to anything you enter, and we cannot recover it for you if you lose it — export to CSV if it matters to you.

Liability

Paddock is provided as is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the app, including lost records, a missed hatch, a missed due date, or a withdrawal period miscounted from a figure that was entered wrongly.
